Celebrating our Multiculturalism

Celebrating our Multiculturalism – Harmony Day

Staff at the MCB were invited to enjoy a morning tea together celebrating our multiculturalism. Colleagues were able to experience delights from a diverse background of cultures including flavours of Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Spain, Croatia and Italy.

It is important to acknowledge the diversity of our community. Harmony Day is about inclusiveness, respect and belonging for all Australians, united by our core Australian values. Our country is a nation built on immigration. Almost half of our current population was either born overseas or has at least one parent born overseas.
