16 Days of Orange

For the Respect and Safety of All Community Members

The orange floral displays in and around the entrances to our cemeteries have been planted in support of 16 Days in WA, a campaign to end violence within our communities. Commencing today, the campaign hopes to remind everyone about the importance of staying safe and showing respect to women and girls and anyone within our homes, workplaces and the wider community being violated.

Women and girls face a much higher risk of sexual, family and domestic violence and the campaign is generating awareness for change within community, businesses and workplaces to end violence. It’s a campaign we can all be part of.
