The Metropolitan Cemeteries Board’s Cemetery Records System was the first of its kind in Australia. It is a computerised tool that enables heritage records to be maintained for all of our cemeteries, dating back to 1899.

The Metropolitan Cemeteries Board took over the administration of the Guildford and Midland cemeteries from the Shire of Swan in 1989. Our search is based on all records passed to the MCB; however, it is believed that these records are not complete.
