The Board currently employs approximately 139 people varying from Information Technology Officers to general cemetery workers. From time to time advertisements are placed seeking suitable applicants for new positions.

When vacancies arise, positions are generally advertised in the Saturday edition of the West Australian and are posted on the Western Australian Government jobs board located at www.jobs.wa.gov.au

The Board Social Club membership is very broad. The club organises a number of events. Membership costs are very low. It's a great way to meet and mingle with fellow employees.

The Metropolitan Cemeteries Board provides a uniform to staff free of charge. All personal protective equipment is provided by the Board and must be worn at all times.
