Fremantle Cemetery is equipped with a crematorium and three beautiful chapels. The facilities cater for a culturally diverse population, offering a wide range of monumental and lawn burial areas and memorial gardens.

The opening of the Fremantle Mausoleum in 2005 has also further expanded the range of options available to families.

Fremantle Flower and Ornament Policy

The Metropolitan Cemeteries Board is committed to maintaining our cemeteries and memorial gardens to a high standard. Our Flower and Ornament Policy has been developed in conjunction with community groups and has been in operation since 1986. Consideration has been given to safety issues for cemetery visitors, staff and to the overall landscape.

We thank our visitors for observing the conditions described in our Policy.
